In reply to Kelsey12XP's post on December 19, This may be "Installer" folder issue. This happened to me when upgrading to Windows 8, but having to uninstall a few programs. The Word icon may be missing or corrupt.
If the folders are not there, look on your old machine or another with Ms Office and copy the appropriate 0FF1CE folder to your machine's Installer folder. Adriano San. In the end it doesn't matter. Within LiteIcon, under system icons click "Others" Drag the icon you have downloaded in step 2 onto the Document icon Click Apply Changes The program will close and you will be signed out, sign in again and all office icons should work as normal.
Funny thing is, it does not use the icon I assigned to it in step 4. Instead it just uses the correct office icons.
